SIL/BIL bought a house!

(if you do not know what 'sil/bil' means (because you're not a knottie) sil= sister in law, and bil = brother in law)

So today we are off to help our sister/brother move into their new house. They closed escrow and received the keys to their Bellflower home this past Tuesday. Aside from the normal moving of furniture, we will be pulling up carpet, tearing down cabinets and pretty much destroying all that they thought was beautiful to begin with... ...funny how that is. I'll try to post some pics of the new place (address not included) so you can all celebrate with us. ;)

UPDATE: We did not move any furniture today. We (well I didn't do anything) helped to rip up carpet, tear down cabinets, remove all kitchen appliances and partially tear up the flooring. There was some old linoleum left under the carpet in the livingroom and 2 layers of a different vinyl left under the marble tiles on the kitchen floor. After a while: backs were hurting, stomachs were growling and feet were aching. Enough was enough... I had to get some food :) Clif stayed another hour or so. I've been completing this blog update during his time away.
